South African Oscar Pistorius has been dropped from the 4x400m relay quartet for Friday's final in Daegu.
The double amputee, who missed out on the individual 400m final, ran in the relay qualifying heats, helping South Africa qualify third-fastest.
The 24-year-old revealed on his Twitter account: "Haven't been included in final. Pretty gutted."
He will now be replaced by 400m hurdler LJ Van Zyl, who won bronze behind Britain's first gold medallist Dai Greene in yesterday's 400m hurdles final.
