South Korea's expelled badminton pairs have seen their appeals to overturn the decision rejected by the Badminton World Federation.
Both South Korea doubles pairs were earlier today kicked out of the tournament, along with a Chinese and Indonesian pair, for appearing to try to lose in order to manufacture easier knockout games.
The BWF has confirmed that an appeal by the South Koreans to be reinstated has been refused, ensuring the decision earlier today stands.
"The decision was to reject the case, thereby the decision from this morning stands," BWF Secretary general Thomas Lund said.
The teams to be reinstated are from Russia, Canada, Australia and South Africa.
