Badminton's world number one player Lee Chong Wei has insisted that he has "never cheated".
Yesterday it was confirmed that the 32-year-old's B sample, which was taken in Oslo last week, had flagged up positive for the banned substance dexamethasone.
The Malaysian has since been suspended pending a hearing, where he could be banned for up to two years.
However, the two-time Olympic silver medalist has vowed to do all that he can to clear his name.
"Thank u for having faith in me. I never cheated nor will I ever rely on banned substances. There are so many unanswered questions, and I hope to clear my name soon," he wrote on Twitter.
Reports have suggested that Wei will retire from the sport if he is handed a suspension.
