Atlanta Hawks center Al Horford has revealed that he will only begin discussions over extending his stay with the club once the 2015-16 season has ended.
The 29-year-old is entering the final year of his contract with the Hawks after an eight-year spell with the team, but he has refused to commit his future to Mike Budenholzer's men at the current time.
"As far as the contract stuff, I'm going to wait until the season is over," Horford told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
"I'm not going to let that linger and be a distraction. The focus is to be on the Hawks, on our team and getting better.
"Once the season ends, we'll be able to sit down and talk and figure out all of that."
Horford has been named an NBA All-Star three times in his career.
