Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo is still weeks away from returning to action, according to general manager Danny Ainge.
Rondo has been sidelined since last season with an ACL injury, but has consistently insisted that he is in no rush to return.
"I don't think he's close. I don't think it's gonna happen in the next few weeks. We're being very cautious with Rondo," Boston Globe quotes Ainge as saying.
Rookie coach Brad Stevens has started well without Rondo, leading his team to the top of the Atlantic Division with an 8-12 record.
