Boston Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge has revealed it is unclear as to when Rajan Rondo will return.
The point guard tore his ACL last season but despite returning to workouts on Tuesday, it is not certain that he will be ready for the season opener next month.
"I'm not sure [when Rondo will be back]," Ainge told Bill Simmons in the B.S. Report podcast, according to Inside Hoops.
With Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett switching to the Brooklyn Nets this off-season as well as former coach Doc Rivers leaving for the Los Angeles Clippers, the Celtics are desperate to see their All-Star point guard back in action.
