The Milwaukee Bucks will face either the Philadelphia 76ers or Toronto Raptors for a place in the NBA Finals.

Milwaukee beat the Boston Celtics 116-91 in game five of the semi-finals to secure a 4-1 series win and ensure their first conference finals appearance since 2001.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 20 for the Bucks in the win and snared eight rebounds and eight assists, with Khris Middleton adding 19 points.

The Bucks are the form team in the post-season, having swept the Detroit Pistons 4-0 and winning another four on the bounce after going down 112-90 to Boston in game one of the series.

Kyrie Irving, the Celtics's highest scorer this season with 23.8 points per game, only had 15 at the Fiserv Forum and made six from 21 field goal attempts (28.5 per cent), compared to a season average of 48.7 per cent.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors lead the Houston Rockets 3-2 in their series after a 104-99 victory at the ORACLE Arena.

James Harden scored 31 for Houston, but the Warriors were lifted to the win through 27 points from Klay Thompson, 25 from Stephen Curry and 22 from Kevin Durant, who left the game early with a leg injury.
