Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Wednesday's games in the NBA.

The Indiana Pacers came from behind in the fourth quarter to beat the Miami Heat by a single point to extend their lead over the two-time defending champions at the top of the Eastern Conference.

The Pacers were seven points down inside the fourth quarter after LeBron James had led the scoring for the Heat, but Evan Turner and David West both made baskets late on to complete the comeback.

The San Antonio Spurs survived a dominant finish from the Denver Nuggets to clinch their 15th consecutive victory.

The Western Conference leaders had a 24-point advantage during the second half before the visitors fought back, but Tim Duncan finished with 29 to maintain the NBA's longest current winning streak.

A strong fourth quarter from the Brooklyn Nets was not enough for them to avoid defeat to the Charlotte Bobcats in overtime.

Deron Williams and Joe Johnson kept the visitors in contention, but Kemba Walker and Josh McRoberts added some vital points in the extra period to clinch the win.

The Phoenix Suns extended their unbeaten run to five games with a victory over the Washington Wizards.

Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic combined for 48, helping the Suns to a 10-point advantage at the break, which the home side never looked like overturning.

Carmelo Anthony and JR Smith added 65 points between them as the New York Knicks held on for a win over the Sacramento Kings.

The Knicks had a 24-point lead during the third, but DeMarcus Cousins tried to get the Kings back into contention late on, but it was not enough to avoid defeat.

The New Orleans Pelicans picked up their fourth win in a row with a slender victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Darius Miller opened up a five-point lead for the Pelicans inside the last minute, allowing them to withstand a frantic finish from the Clippers.

The Toronto Raptors withstood a strong finish from the Boston Celtics to take a win and edge closer to their first playoff appearance since 2008.

DeMar DeRozan, Kyle Lowry and Terrence Ross all scored 20 points or more to lift the Raptors to a 15-point lead heading into the fourth quarter before a run from the hosts cut their lead, but the win never looked in doubt.

The Minnesota Timberwolves cruised to a win over the Atlanta Hawks, who are without a win in their last four games.

The Timberwolves split the workload, with five players adding more than 10 points, including Corey Brewer and Kevin Martin, who each had 18.

The Memphis Grizzlies outscored the Utah Jazz by 13 points in the fourth quarter to seal a narrow win.

Zach Randolph added two free throws with 11 seconds remaining to clinch the victory for the Grizzlies, leaving them with five wins from their last six outings.

A last-gasp basket from Dion Waiters gave the Cleveland Cavaliers a narrow win over the Detroit Pistons.

The Pistons led by 16 early in the fourth quarter, but Jarrett Jack helped get the Cavaliers back into the game, before Waiters added a baseline jump shot as time expired.

Results in full: Brooklyn Nets 111-116 Charlotte Bobcats, Phoenix Suns 99-93 Washington Wizards, Toronto Raptors 99-90 Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers 97-96 Detroit Pistons, Atlanta Hawks 83-107 Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers 96-98 New Orleans Pelicans, Miami Heat 83-84 Indiana Pacers, Denver Nuggets 103-108 San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks 107-99 Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies 91-87 Utah Jazz
