Paul George scored 27 points as the Indiana Pacers improved their record to 16-1 with a win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Clippers threatened to take control late on but the Clippers held on to a 105-100 triumph at the Staples Center.

The Miami Heat survived a scare on Sunday night to beat the Charlotte Bobcats 99-98 at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Charlotte led by 14 early in the fourth quarter but Chris Bosh scored 13 points in the closing stages to earn the Heat their 10th win in a row.

Kevin Durant recorded a triple-double to guide the Oklahoma City Thunder past the Minnesota Timberwolves following a slow start from the hosts at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Durant finished the game with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists as the Thunder came from behind in the fourth quarter to win 113-103.

The Denver Nuggets bench scored 72 points in a 112-98 victory over the Toronto Raptors to claim their 10th home win of the season.

Nate Robinson, who recorded five three-point efforts, topped the scoring charts with 23 as the Nuggets eased to the win.

The Detroit Pistons beat the Philadelphia 76ers 115-100 thanks largely to career-high figures from Andre Drummond.

Drummond posted 31 points, 19 rebounds and six steals to earn his side their seventh victory of the season.

The Golden State Warriors recovered from two losses in a row with a 115-113 success over the Sacramento Kings.

Stephen Curry scored 36 points for the Warriors, who led by 10 at the beginning of the fourth quarter, as a late surge from the Kings was stopped the visitors.

The New York Knicks were condemned to their ninth straight loss as Ryan Anderson starred for the New Orleans Pelicans at Madison Square Garden.

Despite losing Anthony Davis to a fractured hand in the first quarter, the Pelicans dominated in the second half to win 103-99.

The Portland Trail Blazers held off a late fightback from the Los Angeles Lakers to record a 114-108 success.

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 27 points for the Blazers, who have won 12 of their previous 13 games.
