Kemba Walker has said that it "means a lot" for the Charlotte Bobcats to have secured a place in the NBA playoffs for the second time in their history.
The team needed overtime to clinch a 96-94 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers last night, becoming the seventh team in the Eastern Conference to confirm their spot in the playoffs.
The point guard told reporters: "Words can't describe it. For me, Gerald [Henderson], and [Bismack Biyombo], we were the original guys here. We were on the worst team my first two years, so to go from there to here, it's like night and day."
The Bobcats, who were formed ahead of the 2004-05 season, previously reached the playoffs in 2010, losing in the first round to the Orlando Magic.
