The Chicago Bulls have signed forward Doug McDermott after acquiring him with the 11th overall selection in the NBA Draft 2014.
The 22-year-old enjoyed significant success at Creighton during his college career, posting 26.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in his senior year.
"We're very excited about the addition of Doug. We love the versatility of his game and his ability to shoot. He's a fit for our team and organization on many different levels," Bulls general manager Gar Forman told the club's official website.
McDermott also impressed during Chicago's Summer League run over the past fortnight, ending the tournament averaging 18.0 points per game after shooting .444 from behind the arc.
