Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant is still convinced that Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose will return to his best after a second straight season where he has suffered a serious knee injury.
The 25-year-old spent time with Durant and Russell Westbrook during the off-season, and both have sent their best wishes as he continues his rehabilitation.
"The league is much better when Derrick Rose is playing, so hopefully he gets back here soon and he gets that knee to full strength," Durant said, according to ESPN.
Rose has spoken with Westbrook a number of times since suffering a torn medial meniscus last month, and is in high spirits despite the setback.
