Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James dismisses concerns after suffering a cut to his head in the loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James has played down the cut to the head he suffered in the loss to the Golden State Warriors in game four of the NBA Finals.

James lost balance after a foul from Andrew Bogut, and he was left with cuts in two places on his head after colliding with a camera being held by a photographer close to the basket.

"I was just trying to regain my composure. I was holding my hurt, it was hurting," he told reporters after the game. "I was just hoping I wasn't bleeding, but obviously the camera cut me pretty bad.

"Our medical staff did a great job of stopping the bleeding. I knew I had to shoot the free throws or I wasn't going to be able to come back into the game. It didn't matter what was going through my head at the time. I had to go out and shoot those free throws so I could continue to play."

Cavaliers coach David Blatt claims that he has no fears about the injury after James finished the game with 20 points in the 103-82 defeat.

"I hope he's okay. I don't think he has any kind of [concussion]. He didn't have like a serious hit to the head. It was more of a cut, obviously. I'm sure he's fine, knowing him," Blatt said in his post-game news conference.

Game five takes place in Oakland on Sunday with the series level at 2-2.
