Andrew Bynum has cleared waivers and is now an unrestricted free agent after being deemed dispensable by both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls.
The 26-year-old was suspended by the Cavs before being traded in a deal which took Luol Deng to Cleveland.
As part of their salary cutting strategy, Chicago then waived the centre as they look to plan for the future with their draft picks, NBC Sports reports.
Although speculation suggests that there are teams interested in signing Bynum, there has been no indication as of yet which team he will join.
