The Cleveland Cavaliers have said that they do not expect Kyrie Irving to miss a significant amount of time with a knee injury.
The guard bruised his knee during Tuesday's defeat to the Indiana Pacers, but an MRI scan revealed that there was no structural damage in the joint.
The 21-year-old told reporters: "I thought the worst happened. I felt something pop in my knee. When I came back in, my left knee is pretty weak right now. I was falling all over the place. I didn't have my legs under me. It was a painful experience."
Irving has averaged 22.6 points per game so far this season.
