Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has revealed his admiration for Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson during his exploits on Monday night.
Johnson is widely regarded as the best receiver in the NFL and he seemingly caught the eye of both James and Kevin Durant with his performance against the New York Giants.
The Lions star caught seven passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns to help guide his team to a 35-14 win in their opening game of the season.
"Megatron strikes once again! #Beast #MyFavPlayerInWorld," James noted on Twitter, while Durant conceded that Johnson was the best at what he does.
The Giants used single coverage on Johnson with cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, with the last team to adopt such tactics seeing him catch 14 passes for 329 yards, the second-best receiving game in NFL history.
