Steve Kerr has said that Andre Iguodala did "extremely well" defending LeBron James in the Golden State Warriors' win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The guard was placed on the four-time MVP, who scored 44 points but was unable to add more than two in overtime, allowing the Western Conference champions to clinch a 108-100 victory.
The coach told reporters: "Andre is one of the smartest defenders I've ever seen. I mean, he understands angles, he understands where everybody is on the floor.
"You know, it's funny to say when a guy gets 44 points that the defender did a really good job, but I thought Andre did extremely well. Made LeBron take some tough shots."
Iguodala also scored 15 points during the game for the Warriors.
