Sports Mole rounds up Wednesday evening's action from the NBA.

The Memphis Grizzlies needed triple overtime to secure their first win at the AT&T Center in over three years, edging out the San Antonio Spurs.

The reigning champions appeared to have the game sealed late in regulation but Marc Gasol added a three-pointer as time expired, before helping the team to hold on to clinch the win in overtime just a day after ending the Golden State Warriors' 16-game unbeaten run.

The Cleveland Cavaliers were handed their heaviest defeat of the season as they were thrashed by the Atlanta Hawks, who have won 11 of their last 12 games.

The home side made a strong start to take a 50-38 lead midway through the quarter, but the Hawks found another gear to edge in front by half time before easing ahead after the break, with Shelvin Mack scoring a career-high 24.

The Portland Trail Blazers secured their 20th win of the season with victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Damian Lillard led the scoring for the Blazers with 29, while LaMarcus Aldridge had 23 points and 15 rebounds as Portland made it three wins in a row.

Blake Griffin needed his highest-scoring game of the season to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a narrow win over the Indiana Pacers.

The power forward finished with 31, while DeAndre Jordan led the defensive effort with 23 rebounds to restrict the Pacers' scoring effort.

Goran Dragic returned from injury to help the Phoenix Suns end their six-game losing streak with a victory over the Charlotte Hornets.

After missing two games with a back problem, Dragic scored 20 points on his return, while Isaiah Thomas added 23 off the bench to clinch the win.

Chandler Parsons scored a season-high 32 to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a comfortable win over the Detroit Pistons.

The sides were well matched in the first half, but Parsons hit his stride after the break to ensure that the Mavericks opened up a lead.

The Houston Rockets needed a late three-pointer and overtime to secure a closely-fought win over the Denver Nuggets.

James Harden added the basket at the end of regulation to tie up the scores, forcing the extra period, in which he scored eight of his 41 points to hand the visitors the win.

The Utah Jazz secured just their third away win of the season on their visit to the Miami Heat's AmericanAirlines Arena.

Dwyane Wade added 42 for the home side but lacked support from his teammates, while Gordon Hayward and Enes Kanter combined for 47 to cancel out his shooting effort.

The Toronto Raptors maintained their two-game lead at the top of the Eastern Conference with a comfortable win over the Brooklyn Nets.

Having been knocked out of last season's playoffs by the Nets in May, the Raptors got revenge as Kyle Lowry and Jonas Valanciunas added 36 points between them as the Canadian side dominated the fourth quarter.

A strong finish led the Boston Celtics to a win over the Orlando Magic despite trailing by 10 early in the game.

The Celtics slipped behind in the second quarter, but Rajon Rondo and Brandon Bass ensured that they turned it around by the break before a dominant fourth quarter wrapped up the game.

Results in full: Phoenix Suns 111-106, Atlanta Hawks 127-98 Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic 92-109 Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks 117-106 Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz 105-87 Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies 117-116 San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks 97-104 Portland Trail Blazers, Indiana Pacers 100-102 Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets 115-111 Denver Nuggets
