The Denver Nuggets have reportedly interviewed former Sacramento Kings coach Mike Malone about the franchise's vacant head coaching role.
ESPN.com, which cites league sources, suggests that Malone was interviewed yesterday and will now join a shortlist of candidates that includes interim coach Melvin Hunt and Mike D'Antoni.
Malone has experience working as both an assistant and head coach, with his most recent post at the Kings coming to an end last December with the side starting the 2014-2015 season with an 11-13 record.
The Nuggets now hold the last head coach vacancy in the league as the New Orleans Saints, Orlando Magic and Chicago Bulls all made appointments in the past week.
