Jokic had his fourth triple-double of the season.

Nikola Jokic scored the go-ahead bucket with 2.4 seconds to go to help power Western Conference leaders the Denver Nuggets to a 103-99 win over the Miami Heat.

The centre also recorded his fourth triple-double of the season – and the 20th of his career – as he finished with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

Torrey Craig had his first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 16 rebounds, while Jamal Murray, Trey Lyles and Paul Millsap also scored in double figures.

A season-high 40 points from Andrew Wiggins helped lift the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 119-117 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Oklahoma came close to stealing a victory in the closing moments, but Russell Westbrook missed two three-pointers in the final seconds.

The Wolves' victory marked Ryan Saunders' first game as interim head coach after Tom Thibodeau was sacked on Sunday.

The Toronto Raptors claimed their sixth home win in a row as they edged out the Atlanta Hawks 104-101.

Kawhi Leonard led the way with 31 points, while Serge Ibaka had the winning basket just 17 seconds before the buzzer.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers survived a late surge from the Cleveland Cavaliers to win 123-115.

Despite holding a 13-point lead heading into the final quarter, the Pacers found themselves just five ahead in the closing minutes.

Victor Oladipo pushed the lead back to eight with 1:06 left and Indiana were able to convert at the free-throw line to seal the win.

Klay Thompson sank three of his seven three-pointers in the space of two minutes in the fourth quarter as the Golden State Warriors overcame the New York Knicks 122-95.

Lou Williams had 27 points to ensure the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Charlotte Hornets for the ninth time in a row, winning 128-109.

Elsewhere, Landry Shamet set a franchise rookie record by hitting eight three-pointers in the Philadelphia 76ers' 132-115 rout of the Washington Wizards, while the Phoenix Suns ended a six-game losing streak to beat the Sacramento Kings 115-111.
