The Denver Nuggets are closing in on the signing of free agent Darrell Arthur, according to reports.
Arthur initially joined the Nuggets in 2013 and has spent two seasons with the Colorado-based side, but his contract has now expired.
However, the Denver Post claims that the Nuggets now have the funds to re-sign Arthur for a third straight season.
The report also suggests that forward Danilo Gallinari will sign a new contract, which will raise his salary to £9m.
The Nuggets will open the new season against the Houston Rockets.
