Golden State Warriors legend Rick Barry has suggested that Cleveland Cavaliers small forward LeBron James is the best three to have ever played the game.
The Warriors do battle with the Cavaliers in game one of the finals on Thursday, with James preparing to play in his fifth consecutive NBA showpiece.
"I think LeBron is the greatest three to ever play the game. And as great as he is, he still has room for improvement," Barry told CBS Sports Radio.
"If that was ever to happen and he really refined his game more, they may have to outlaw him, he's so good.
"He's an anomaly, I mean he really is. There's never been anybody like him with his size, his athleticism, his feel for the game."
James has a career average of 27.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.9 assists, as well as four MVP accolades to his name.
