Andrew Bogut not expecting change in Kyrie Irving despite talk of fitness issues

Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut insists that his side are not expecting to see a change in the performances levels of Kyrie Irving despite talk of an injury.

Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut has insisted that his side will be expecting the same Kyrie Irving as they have done all season, despite talk of the Cleveland Cavaliers point guard carrying a niggling injury.

The two sides face up in Game One of the playoff finals at the Oracle Arena on Thursday night, with Bogut keen to stress that most players' fitness levels are somehow compromised come the end of the regular season.

"I'll tell you, there's not one guy in the series who's 100%," said Bogut, according to the NBA's official website.

"We've got guys banged up — just 'cause they're not talking in the media about it doesn't mean a guy's healthy. Everyone at this point in the playoffs has tendinitis, arthritis, contusions. We had someone with a concussion.

"We're not feeling sorry for anyone. We're not going to change things. We expect him to play the way he played all season. He's still a legitimate threat."

This year's finals see the Warriors competing in the showpiece for the first time in 40 years.
