Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Tuesday's games in the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors' 16-game winning run in the NBA has come to an end after they suffered a defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.

After the visitors pulled in front in the first quarter, the Grizzlies came out fighting in the second, with Vince Carter leading a run of 20 unanswered points to put Memphis in control.

Klay Thompson tried to give the Warriors some hope, but his 22-point performance was not enough to stop them slipping to just their third defeat of the season.

The Washington Wizards secured their fifth win in a row with victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, leaving them at the top of the Southeast Division.

John Wall led the hosts to the win, picking up 21 points and a career-high 17 assists as Washington opened up a big lead early on, which they never looked like surrendering.

The Oklahoma City Thunder wrapped in their seventh straight victory, edging out the struggling Sacramento Kings, who fired their coach earlier this week.

In their first game since Mike Malone's departure, the Kings struggled to contain Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant, allowing the duo to combine for 58 points.

The Miami Heat survived a strong finish from the Brooklyn Nets to move last season's beaten finalists to a 12-13 record.

The game was delayed when the newly-installed roof at the Barclays Center started to leak, while Dwyane Wade had to overcome a stomach virus in order to play.

However, the guard led the visitors once action did get underway, scoring 28 points before the Heat held off a fourth-quarter rally led by Bojan Bogdanovic.

The Dallas Mavericks cruised to a comfortable win over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

The visitors jumped to a 12-point lead by the end of the first quarter thanks to a quick start by former Knicks player Tyson Chandler, leaving the hosts with too much to do.

The New Orleans Pelicans needed a dominant fourth quarter to secure a narrow win over the Utah Jazz.

The visitors had led for the majority of the game, but the Pelicans overcame a 14-point deficit in the final eight minutes as Anthony Davis and Tyreke Evans helped the Pelicans outscore Utah 41-22 in the final quarter.

Result in full: Minnesota Timberwolves 95-109 Washington Wizards, Miami Heat 95-91 Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors 98-105 Memphis Grizzlies, Utah Jazz 111-119 New Orleans Pelicans, Dallas Mavericks 108-87 New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder 104-92 Sacramento Kings
