The Golden State Warriors maintained their 100% start to the 2015-16 NBA season with a comfortable win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Last season's league MVP, Stephen Curry, took the game away from the hosts in the third quarter, adding 28 of his 53 points just after the break, while the Pelicans managed just 26 in the same 12-minute period, allowing him to sit out the fourth as the Warriors' reserves wrapped up the victory.

The Los Angeles Clippers also improved to 3-0 for the first time in eight seasons with a win over the Sacramento Kings at the Staples Center.

The sides were close at half time, but Derrick Favors led the third-quarter charge for the Jazz, setting them up for their second win of the season.

The Phoenix Suns beat the Portland Trail Blazers for the second night in a row as Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight combined for 60 points in the Suns' first road game of the season.

Damian Lillard kept the sides close heading into the fourth quarter, but Bledsoe and Knight added 15 points in the final five minutes to secure the win for the Suns.

The Brooklyn Nets' slow start to the season continued as they were beaten by the Memphis Grizzlies, despite closing the gap in the final seconds.

Mike Conley helped the home side open up a 16-point lead early in the fourth quarter, but Jarrett Jack got Brooklyn within six inside the last minute, allowing Memphis to hold on.
