The Miami Heat conceded their largest points total of the season as they were beaten 123-114 by the Golden State Warriors at the American Airlines Arena in Florida on Thursday.
Guard Stephen Curry was the standout performer for the visitors as he notched a game-high 36 points alongside 12 assists, while partner in crime David Lee finished with 32 points on 13-for-17 shooting for the Warriors.
At one point in the game it looked as though the Heat were about to pull themselves back into a strong position as LeBron James brought the scores to 111-107 with just over four minutes to play. However, Curry and Lee were too strong as they pushed the Warriors further in front towards victory.
The result sees the Warriors occupying second spot in the Pacific Division, with a record of 21-13 for the season.
