Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard has revealed that he is feeling more confident as he recovers from a knee injury.
Howard has played through the pain barrier in his side's Western Conference final series against Golden State Warriors after sustaining a sprained knee in game one.
The 29-year-old had a solid outing in game two despite Houston suffering defeat, and he now feels that he is on the mend following a practice session on Saturday.
He told reporters: "I feel a lot better, really happy about that.
"I didn't want it to continue to linger throughout the whole playoffs. So it's good some of the pain has gone away."
The Rockets are 2-0 down in the series ahead of game three on Sunday.
