Houston Rockets guard James Harden has suffered a hyperextended right elbow and is scheduled to have an MRI scan to find out the extent of the injury.
The 24-year-old sustained the knock in a collision with David Lee during Houston's loss to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.
Harden had an X-ray after the game but is expected to undergo further tests when the team arrives in Phoenix this weekend, ESPN reports.
The Rockets guard scored 39 points in the loss, and admitted after the game that he thought he had broken his arm although he did stay in the game.
