The Houston Rockets have posted pictures of Carmelo Anthony wearing the team's number seven jersey in a set of windows next to one of the entrances to their Toyota Center court.
The move comes as the Rockets try to court Anthony, with the free agent currently thinking over his future and in talks with a number of teams, including his old side the New York Knicks.
However, the photoshopped picture is not without controversy, with the Rockets' number seven shirt currently occupied by point guard Jeremy Lin.
In response to the pictures, Lin recited a verse from the Bible on his Twitter account.
He said: "Luke 6:29 - If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them."
NBA sources expect Lin to be moved in a trade to assist the Rockets in clearing enough cap space in order to offer Anthony a bigger contract.
