Danny Granger has said that the Indiana Pacers have built a roster with "potential" heading into the 2013-14 NBA season.
The club has been active during the off-season, bringing in free agents CJ Watson and Chris Copeland, as well as trading for Luis Scola.
The small forward told the team's official website: "It's really encouraging. They kinda see the potential that this group has and I think we're really going for it. We really are title contenders now and we have to show it.
"I think [Scola is] probably our biggest free agent pickup. In my mind, he's a starting power forward in the NBA and I don't know how we pulled him off and how we got him but we did.
"There's no more 'Wait and let's try to do this' and 'Wait, let's try to get better and make a move here'. I think we have all the pieces, we just have to put them all together and go attack it."
The Pacers reached the conference finals last season, where they lost to the Miami Heat.
