Indiana Pacers star Danny Granger is expected to make his season debut against the Houston Rockets on Friday night.
The 30-year-old has been sidelined with a strained left calf since October 18, and while he has no medical restriction, it is expected that he will play between 15 to 20 minutes.
"There's no way to simulate the game intensity, game adrenaline so I'm sure that'll feel differently for him and there's going to be an adjustment period while he gets used to that again," Vogel said, as reported by Pacers.com.
Granger featured in five pre-season games and averaged 22 minutes per game but will likely now face a struggle improving his conditioning.
