Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel has labelled David West as a special talent following the power forward's performance in their 110-100 defeat of the Milwaukee Bucks.
West was part of a cohort of three players who contributed a total of 86 points for the Pacers, with Paul George and Lance Stephenson also turning in impressive performances on Saturday night.
"He kept delivering, so obviously we kept going to him. Then when they doubled we made them pay from the 3-point line," Vogel told reporters after the game.
"He was pretty special tonight, and Paul was Paul and Lance took advantage of their two point-guard lineup with a really strong line."
The win sees the Pacers occupying first position in the Central Division with a record of 42-13 for the season.
