DeAndre Jordan has admitted that he was under "immense pressure" when deciding his future with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The 26-year-old verbally agreed to leave the Clippers and join the Dallas Mavericks, but then reneged on the move to re-sign with Doc Rivers's men on a four-year maximum deal.
"As everyone knows, I struggled with it," Jordan told The Players' Tribune. "It was nine or 10 days of intense pressure.
"Every night, I would have a different scenario in my head, of the city and team where I thought I would fit best.
"I had several meetings with teams and even more conversations with my family and friends. I kept thinking about what it really meant to be home, and I would go back and forth."
Jordan averaged 11.5 points per game last season for the Clippers.
