Doc Rivers has praised the Los Angeles Clippers' "mental toughness" following their 113-103 win over the Golden State Warriors.
The victory came just hours after the team's owner Donald Sterling was handed a lifetime ban after allegedly being recorded making racist comments.
The coach told reporters: "I thought they were great. I thought they were tired a lot, and that was the result of the last few days.
"I just thought they had great mental toughness. They wanted to will this game, and I'm just proud of them."
Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr has said that he would be interested in buying the team.
