Shelly Sterling has been given the go-ahead to sell the Los Angeles Clippers after a judge ruled against owner Donald Sterling on Monday.
The judge ruled that the owner's wife had the authority to remove her husband as a trustee of the trust that owns the team, while Sterling will not be allowed to delay the sale by appealing.
"This is going to be a good thing for the city, for the league for my family and for all of us. Come see the Clippers next year," Shelly Sterling said, ESPN reports.
Sterling was banned by the NBA last season after making offensive racist remarks which led to players and coaches to question their future with the franchise unless he was removed.
