Steve Nash has said that it was "pretty cool" to make his return to action with the Los Angeles Lakers last night.
The point guard, who had missed almost three months with a back nerve problem, scored seven points in a 25-minute spell during the team's 109-99 defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Nash, who turns 40 later this week, told reporters: "I feel a bit selfish in that we lost but it felt great just to play in the NBA again.
"Obviously the game didn't go as we hoped, but for me personally that's pretty cool to be back out there."
The Lakers are in action against the Cleveland Cavaliers later today.
