The Oklahoma City Thunder came from behind to beat the Boston Celtics, despite playing without Kevin Durant.

The league's leading scorer was rested with a shoulder complaint, but Jeremy Lamb stepped up in his absence, scoring 19 from the bench.

Carmelo Anthony broke a string of records as the New York Knicks beat the Charlotte Bobcats in the two teams' fourth meeting of the season, ending a run of five defeats for the home side.

The All-Star forward scored 62 as the Knicks cruised to the win, bettering Durant's highest score of the season, Bernard King's Knicks best and Kobe Bryant's record for scoring the most points in a single game at Madison Square Garden.

The Brooklyn Nets held on for a single-point victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

Mirza Teletovic was able to open up a lead for the home side, scoring 34 off the bench, including 24 in the second quarter, before Dirk Nowitzki and Vince Carter led the Mavericks fightback, coming up just short.

The San Antonio Spurs bounced back from defeat to thrash the Atlanta Hawks, with Boris Diaw scoring 21 points.

The visitors were able to take their starters out in the third quarter, leaving the reserves to see out the win.

The Indiana Pacers needed overtime to claim a win over the Sacramento Kings, having fought back to force the extra spell.

Paul George scored a series of late points to ensure that the Pacers would get another chance, before leading the way in overtime.

The Minnesota Timberwolves came from behind late on to snatch victory against the Golden State Warriors.

Kevin Love brought the visitors back into the game before Kevin Martin was able to give them the lead with just eight seconds left.

The Orlando Magic dominated the third quarter to set themselves up for a win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

The teams were level at half time, but Tobias Harris led the home side with 28 to open up an unassailable lead.

The Los Angeles Clippers eased to a comfortable win over the Chicago Bulls, giving them their 30th win of the season.

Blake Griffin put in a strong performance, adding 26 points and 13 rebounds to help the visitors come away with the victory.

A last-gasp effort from the New Orleans Pelicans gave them a narrow win over the Detroit Pistons.

The Pelicans had to fight back from 16 points down before Eric Gordon was able to give them the lead with just 1.9 seconds remaining.

The Memphis Grizzlies were able to clinch a win over the Houston Rockets, beating their opponents by just one point.

Courtney Lee led the scoring for the visitors, adding 19 to give the Grizzlies their first win over a divisional opponent this season.

The Toronto Raptors finished strongly to secure a win over the Philadelphia 76ers, ending a run of four games without an away win.

DeMar DeRozan continued his recent strong form, finishing the game with 34 points, while Kyle Lowry added some late points to end hopes of a Philadelphia comeback.

The Washington Wizards stunned the Phoenix Suns with a dominant spell at the start of the second half, setting the visitors up for the win.

The home side had a six-point lead at half time, but Trevor Ariza and Bradley Beal made sure that the score kept rising for the Wizards.

The Cleveland Cavaliers proved too strong for the Milwaukee Bucks, beating the team with the worst record in the NBA by 15 points.

The home side were able to dominate spells either side of half time to open up a gap, led by Anderson Varejao and Kyrie Irving.
