Nick Young reportedly remains optimistic that he will remain with the Los Angeles Lakers ahead of the new season.
The Lakers have been shopping Young all summer, while also adding another sixth man in Lou Williams to replace him.
However, despite the new campaign edging closer, Young remains on the Lakers roster and has not been linked with a move elsewhere.
Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak met with the 30-year-old recently, although it is not known what they specifically discussed, according to Inside the Lakers.
Young averaged 13.4 points per game last season, but shot just 36.6% from the floor.
