Mike Conley has said that the Memphis Grizzlies play at their best with their backs against the wall.
The team, who started the season with five losses in their first eight games, beat the Los Angeles Clippers in overtime for their fourth consecutive victory last night.
The point guard told reporters: "We heard it all. There was a lot of rumbling going on in Memphis, from our fans, from media, everywhere. And we knew it.
"We weren't the same team the first three or four games. And I think we started to get it back here.
"The last five or six games, we're starting to play our style of basketball. And I think we almost play better when our back's against the wall."
The Grizzlies host the San Antonio Spurs tomorrow.
