Sports Mole brings you a roundup of Sunday's NBA action as the season heads towards a close, with the Memphis Grizzlies desperate to secure a playoff spot.

The Memphis Grizzlies have set up a potentially playoff-deciding game with the Phoenix Suns next Monday, as they beat the Los Angeles Lakers 102-90 on Sunday night.

The victory at the Staples Center came courtesy of a standout performance from Mike Conley, who notched 24 points, meaning that the Grizzlies are now sitting in the final playoff position in the Western Conference.

In New York, the Chicago Bulls fell into fourth spot in the Eastern Conference behind the Toronto Raptors, having lost out 100-89 to the New York Knicks.

The Knicks were helped by a strong performance from Tim Hardaway Jr., who scored 20 points off the bench, while J.R. Smith and Carmelo Anthony both notched 17 points each.

Over in Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Nets put an end to a two-game losing streak as they triumphed over the Orlando Magic with a 97-88 victory at the Barclays Center.

The Indiana Pacers pushed on closer to claiming the top spot in the Eastern Conference as they won out 102-97 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Pacers need one slip-up by the Miami Heat in their last two fixtures to be crowned division winners, as Lance Stephenson shone on Sunday by producing his NBA-leading fifth triple-double of the season.

At the Palace Of Auburn Hills, shooting guard DeMar DeRozan grabbed 30 points to help lead the Raptors to a comfortable 116-107 win over home side the Detroit Pistons.

The Portland Trail Blazers clinched a playoff spot as they beat the Golden State Warriors 119-117 in overtime, thanks to strong showings from LaMarcus Aldridge and Wesley Matthews.

Finally, in California, the Sacramento Kings beat the Minnesota Timberwolves to match their game-winning record of 28 games last season, with DeMarcus Cousins tallying 35 points in the win at the Sleep Train Arena.
