The Miami Heat have announced that they have signed DeAndre Liggins to a 10-day contract after he spent time with the franchise's development league team.
The 25-year-old was averaging 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.5 steals which earned him a D-League All-Star spot, while he has previously played for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA.
The Thunder decided to waive him in September after he was arrested for domestic violence, but the felony charges have since been dropped, ESPN reports.
Miami have been looking for another wing player after releasing Roger Mason Jr, but it is understood that they are still in the market for players who might get contract buyouts before Saturday's deadline.
