Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Friday evening's games in the NBA.

The Miami Heat continued their strong home form with a comfortable win over the Sacramento Kings.

LeBron James led the NBA champions early on, while Chris Bosh kept the points coming throughout the game, finishing with 25.

The win is the Heat's 18th in a row against Western Conference opposition.

The Indiana Pacers recovered from their first back-to-back defeats of the season to cruise past the Houston Rockets.

Dwight Howard starred for the Rockets with 19 points, but the Pacers were able to shut down his teammates, while Paul George scored 24 points for the hosts.

The Los Angeles Lakers dominated the second half of their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves to clinch a win.

The teams were level at the break, but Xavier Henry led the Lakers' charge as the hosts opened up a 13-point advantage.

The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Brooklyn Nets by a single point following overtime, ending the team's seven-game losing streak.

Paul Pierce thought that he had done enough to give the visitors the win, hitting a three-pointer with just over 16 seconds left to play, but Evan Turner sprinted down the other end of the court to add the winning basket.

A late rally helped the Charlotte Bobcats come from behind to beat the Detroit Pistons.

The visitors had trailed by 20 points during the second quarter, and were 14 down at the start of the fourth, but Al Jefferson upped his game, adding 15 points in the final 12 minutes to lead the Charlotte comeback.

The Toronto Raptors recovered from a strong start to beat the Dallas Mavericks in overtime.

The home side were 11 points up at the end of the first quarter, but Toronto fought back, before DeMar DeRozan added the winning shot late in overtime.

The Atlanta Hawks proved too strong for the Utah Jazz, thrashing their opponents by 33 points.

The home side were up 14 points by the end of the first quarter and never looked like being caught as Lou Williams and Al Horford combined for 48 points.

The Phoenix Suns needed a dominant fourth quarter performance to take victory against the Denver Nuggets.

Markieff Morris recovered from a second-quarter mistake which saw him briefly benched to finish the game with 25 points as the Suns overturned a 21-point deficit.

The Cleveland Cavaliers managed to edge a tight game against the Milwaukee Bucks in overtime.

The teams were level at the break, and matched each other's scoring in the third and fourth to ensure overtime, but Kyrie Irving, who missed practice earlier this week with the flu, made four free throws inside the last 30 seconds to seal the win.
