Dwyane Wade has said that he is optimistic of playing against the Indiana Pacers later today.
The Miami Heat guard has sat out the team's last two games with a sore Achilles and knee, but practised with the two-time defending champions yesterday.
He told ESPN: "I feel good. I came in today to test it out, and it felt pretty good. So now, hopefully, [today] it's not as sore and I can continue to progress and get back on the court.
"I tried to take two or three days off to let it calm down. I wanted to go on the court and play the way I can and not feel the way I did in the Memphis game."
Wade has averaged 19.3 points in the 50 games in which he has featured for the Heat this season.
