Dwyane Wade has said that he is ready to play against the Detroit Pistons later today.
The Miami Heat guard has been recovering from a series of knee injuries, resulting in him sitting out their pre-season win over the Atlanta Hawks earlier this week.
The 31-year-old told ESPN: "I expect to play against Detroit, and then I'll take it from there. That's the way I'm approaching this."
Wade has a career average of 24.7 points per game.
