The Miami Heat have rejected the chance to keep forward Michael Beasley, according to reports.
The 26-year-old rejoined the team for a third spell last season, but averaged only 8.8 points per game in 24 appearances.
The Washington Post claims that the Heat had an option to extend Beasley's £1.1m contract for a further 12 months, but they have opted to release him.
Beasley has also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns and Shanghai Sharks.
