Milwaukee Bucks head coach Jason Kidd has claimed that Jabari Parker will be back on the court within the first two weeks of November.
Parker was selected with the second pick in the 2014 Draft but a promising start to his debut season in the NBA was ended after 25 games by an ACL injury which required surgery.
The 20-year-old has been practising with his teammates in recent weeks, and Kidd will ease the forward back into action.
"He looks great. He's done everything," Kidd told reporters. "Hopefully, in that first couple of weeks of November, he can come back and start his process, his journey, of playing 10 to 15 minutes a night and hopefully getting his load bigger as the season goes on."
The Bucks start the season against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.
