Sports Mole rounds up the action from Tuesday night's games in the NBA.

The Miami Heat took their biggest winning margin so far this season when they beat the Milwaukee Bucks 118-95 last night.

LeBron James led the NBA champions' charge with 33 points, including 17 points in a dominant third quarter by the team.

The Heat's defensive play restricted the visitors during the first three quarters, but a strong finish saw the Bucks score 33 points in the final 12 minutes.

The Los Angeles Lakers claimed their first win in three games when they hosted the New Orleans Pelicans.

Jordan Hill led the side with a career-high 21 points as the Lakers beat the visitors 116-95.

The Pelicans had beaten the Lakers last week, but struggled to match their performance away from home.

Dallas Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki moved up to 16th in the NBA's all-time points scorer list with 19 points during their win over the Washington Wizards.

The Wizards stuck with their hosts early on, but Monta Ellis allowed the Mavericks to pull away during the second quarter.

The Golden State Warriors secured a comfortable win over the Detroit Pistons, who are yet to win away from home this season.

Stephen Curry was back on form for the hosts, adding 25 points, two rebounds, eight assists and a steal, helping the team to a 22-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Detroit were able to reduce the deficit to 13 points midway through the fourth, with the Warriors electing to rest their starters for the final 12 minutes, but the Pistons could not continue to fight back.

Results in full: Milwaukee Bucks 95-118 Miami Heat, Washington Wizards 95-105 Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons 95-113 Golden State Warriors, New Orleans Pelicans 95-116 Los Angeles Lakers
