Ricky Rubio has reportedly been cleared to make his return from injury for the Minnesota Timberwolves in this evening's NBA game against the Dallas Mavericks.
The Spanish point-guard has missed 43 games since damaging his left ankle in the fifth match of the season on November 7.
The Wolves were 2-2 at the time, but have since gone 6-36 to have the worst record in the league.
Rubio is the third key Minnesota player to make a recent recovery from a lengthy absence following Nikola Pekovic and Kevin Martin's returns in the last two weeks.
According to AP, Rubio's minutes will be restricted until after the upcoming All-Star break as Minnesota assess how his ankle fares in games.
