The Minnesota Timberwolves have recalled rookie Shabazz Muhammad from their NBA Development League affiliate.
The decision was announced on Monday, as reported by ESPN, as Muhammad makes the step back up after playing in four games for Iowa Energy.
The youngster averaged 24.5 points and 57.1% shooting and 9.8 rebounds, with his team insisting it was a good move for his development.
The 21-year-old was the 14th overall pick in last year's Draft, but has played just 11 games for the Timberwolves and a total of 42 minutes.
