The Indiana Pacers made it back-to-back wins with a comfortable victory against the struggling Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA.

The Sixers lost their 19th game in a row as Paul George and David West combined for 44 for the visitors, leaving the Pacers four wins clear at the top of the Eastern Conference.

The Miami Heat slipped to consecutive home losses for the first time since 2011 with defeat to the Denver Nuggets.

The two-time defending champions got off to a good start, leading by 10 at the end of the first quarter, but Kenneth Faried and Darrell Arthur brought the visitors back into the game to leave the Heat with five losses in their last six games.

The San Antonio Spurs extended their winning run to nine games with victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Spurs took the lead four minutes into the game and did not fall behind again, as five of the team's reserves made it into double figures to seal San Antonio's largest-ever winning margin over the Lakers.

The Los Angeles Clippers needed a strong second-half performance to seal a win over the Utah Jazz.

The Cleveland Cavaliers overcame a slow start against the Golden State Warriors to clinch a win.

The Cavaliers found themselves 18 points behind during the second quarter, but Spencer Hawes led the visitors back into the tie.

The Phoenix Suns ended their three-game losing streak with a win over the Boston Celtics.

The visitors needed to add the the final seven points of the game to make sure of the victory, but the Celtics struggled with their shooting accuracy to allow the Suns to come away with the success.

The Charlotte Bobcats won their eighth home game in a row by beating the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The hosts pulled away during the second quarter, outscoring their opponents 32-20, while Al Jefferson finished the game with 25 points.

The Toronto Raptors eased to victory over the Memphis Grizzlies for their 11th win in their last 14 outings.

Jonas Valanciunas added a season-high 23 points, while Kyle Lowry had 22 as the Canadian team finished strongly to put the win beyond doubt.

The Washington Wizards needed overtime to get the better of the Orlando Magic to strengthen their hold on sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

John Wall made a quiet start to the game, but finished strongly, adding 12 points in the fourth quarter to ensure that the game headed into overtime, before Trevor Ariza stepped up in the extra period to clinch the win.
